My Math Journey
Mathematics has been my gift since I was born. I have no other explanation as to why I picked the subject that the world hates. By the time I entered sixth grade, I was taking high school-level classes, preparing me for a future I didn't know I would have. When I entered college, I took the required math classes, but spent the time in class developing different strategies to teach the same concepts, just to help my classmates. Since then, it has become part of my life's passion.
Now, I have spent more than 15 years teaching/tutoring students of all levels, from elementary school to college courses, with most of my experience as a certified high school teacher in Fairfax (VA) and Broward (FL) counties. I have taught various classes at remedial, standard and honors levels, including but not limited to: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
